![]() ![]() The Grilled Salmon had a barbeque flavor that was wonderfully complemented by the salty diced ham bits.The Halibut had a crunchy baked crust that entrapped “melt in your mouth” cooked fish, and the broth and shellfish gave a wholesome and warm comfort.Together the dishes did not compliment one another, but separately each was wonderful.This course was accompanied by a Grilled salmon of a Pinto bean and diced ham sauté. Next came a Baked Halibut over clams and mussels in a fish & vegetable broth.The Mac & Cheese was nothing special and the noodles could have been cooked longer.The Ceviche and Salad were excellent both being fairly spicy but not overwhelming.Our first course was comprised of a Salmon Ceviche, Macaroni & Cheese with Manchego Cheese and Serrano Pepper, and a Romaine and Avocado salad with a spice dressing.The balance between fresh and cooked foods was very well prepared. ![]() ![]() The dishes were unique and perfectly portioned. Make sure though you’re not expecting attentive service! I feel that the restaurant is worth trying, simply because of the high quality food. This poor service was also contributed to by an inability to keep our beverages full, and we were never checked on during the meal. My two-hour dinning experience was equally shared between enjoying a course, and waiting for the next. Tico’s dishes displayed impressive culinary expertise through a variety of exciting and exotic tastes and textures however, these dishes were either piled over one another, or spaced out eons apart. The most common failure for a high-end restaurant is an inability to match great food with equally impressive service. ![]()
